Netherlands: Potential to be a leader!
In my recent geographical studies one of the areas on the planet that I feel would be ideal for alternative energies, transportation and innovative horticulture would be the Netherlands. They produce a variety of things in the Automotive, Brewing, Mining and other fields. They were productive in fruit tree farms which have subsided. However, the country has wind, hills, and flowing water. An innate ability of the intelligent division of facts has evolved through it's historical foundation. Anyone knowing the steel in which these people have been forged, knows what I am talking about! Netherlands...take a look!

Sunnyvale, California: "Tops list of 25 most inventive cities in America!"
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale has topped the list of “25 Most Inventive Cities” in the nation. The survey was published online on, "TheDailyBeast.com," website, a merger of Daily Beast and Newsweek.The Daily Beast totaled the number of patent applications filed and the number of patents granted among the nation’s 200 largest cities. According to authors, each city was ranked based on its patents (applied and approved) per capita, creating a list showing the highest resident-to-inventor ratio. Data from the US Patent and Trademark Office and the US Census were used in the calculations. Sunnyvale’s scores of 1,391 patent applications and 2,324 patents awarded per 100,000 population, were more than twice as high as second-place Fremont, which scored 686 and 1,068, respectively. Third-place San Jose scored 401 and 643. Of the top 10 cities in the country, six were in California. The complete top 10 list ranks Sunnyvale, Fremont, San Jose, Irvine, Cary (NC), San Francisco, Seattle, Boise (ID), Pasadena and Plano (TX).
Congratulations Sunnyvale, California! Guess the eastern half of the country needs to step up to the plate, ay?
Tata Motors of India's proposed air powered car!

The air car, developed by ex-formula one engineer Guy N. for Luxembourg based MDI, uses compressed air to push it's engines pistons and makes the car go. The air car called the "Mini CAT" could cost around 365,757 rupees in India or $8,177 USD. The Mini CAT which is simple, light urban car, with a tubular chassis, a body of fiberglass that is glued not welded and powered by compressed air. A microprocessor is used to control all electrical functions of the car. A tiny radio transmitter sends instructions to the lights, turn signals and every other electrical device on the car. Which are not many. The temperature of the clean air expelled by the exhaust pipe is between zero and fifteen degrees below zero, which makes it suitable for use by the internal airconditioning system with no need for gases or loss of power. There are no keys, just an access card which can be read by the car from your pocket. According to the designers, it costs less than 50 rupees per 1000 KM., thats about a tenth of the cost of a car running on gas. Its mileage is about double that of the electric car, a factor which makes it a perfect choice for city motorists. The car has a top speed of 105 KM per hour or 60 MPH would have. Would have a range of around 300 KM or 185 miles between refuels. Refilling the car will take place at adapted gas stations with special air compressors. A fill up will only take two to three minutes and costs approximately 100 rupees and the car will be ready to go another 300 Kilometers.
This car can also be filled at home with it's on board compressor. It will take three to four hours to refill the tank, but it can be done while you sleep.
Because there is no combustion engine, changing the one liter of vegetable oil is only necessary every 50,000KM or 30,000 miles. Due to it's simplicity, there is very little maintenance to be done on this car.
I read a similar but updated article on the Popular Mechanics, web-site, that stated a soon to come improvement that would have a 1000 mile range. I welcome this change and may it spare the lives of our young men who have been fighting for the overwhelming amount of oil consumption this and other countries use! I am a disabled veteran and I support this!
Imagine the sudden prosperity it would bring to the world! The oil companies would still be able to sell plenty of oil we just would not have to import it!

Already the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk is coming under attack as if he were a politician. I give honor to him for the way he stood his ground as he was grilled about his ability to finance this organization! I am going to put my deposit in for one of the affordable model S, Tesla vehicles. Well, when I have COH.
Can you imagine what the compressed air vehicle from India will do for their economy or any that purchase it! I am sure that these vehicles will be purchased and things will change as they always do! As we in America tend only to follow change now when it becomes necessity not the smarter thing to do! So when will the next Volkswagon show up.
Consider safety and survival equipment that will allow survival in hurricanes, tornadoes and floods!
Think ahead when considering ideas for the sake of invention to take care of a need. A solution to a great need. A solution to a great desire!

Space X successful in tests leading up to docking with the ISS.
Now this summer the Space X company has successfully docked with the ISS and the first Tesla Model S cars have been delivered to their customers. Congratulations!

NEW YORK – Elon Musk , CEO and Co-founder of Tesla Motors and CEO and CTO of SpaceX, last night received the Innovator of the Year Award in Technology by WSJ. Magazine. WSJ. Magazine’s first annual Innovator of the Year Awards honors the most creative, disruptive, and influential individuals in the world today. Musk was recognized for revolutionizing three of the biggest industries in the world--automobiles, energy and space exploration. Artist Tom Sachs, whose recent work is based on the imagery of space, presented the award to Musk.In conjunction with the November issue of WSJ., the winners were honored on Thursday, October 27, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The November issue of WSJ. will hit newsstands on Saturday, October 29, as part of WSJ Weekend. “It is an honor to be recognized by WSJ. Magazine, and to join these other visionaries here tonight,” said Elon Musk. “It is urgently important to apply innovation to the areas that will most affect our future.
